Triptych (Panel Art)
What is triptych art ?
Nothing more and less than Panel Art. A two panel art piece is called diptych, a three panel
triptych, and so forth. An artwork is broken up into equal or unequal parts to add visual interest.
Panels can be spread apart to decorate a large wall area, for example over a bed or couch.
